Dean Malanga is one of the hardest working mates at the Jersey Shore. He has worked for his uncle, Captain John Brackett, for the last 6 years. He has grown up in Lavallette, and has fished and crabbed every day. Even on his days off he is diving or fishing somewhere in the ocean or bay. A personable mate, he is excellent at making sure the kids have a great day. Dean plays hockey for east stroudsburg university during the school year .
